OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE

More Life Portland is PRC's campaign to protect and save thousands more precious lives, building on decades of ministry.

   This calling is founded upon these God-given convictions:

• Every baby deserves a chance to be born.
• Every woman deserves the dignity of hearing the complete truth about life, her baby, abortion, and alternatives to abortion...all in a compassionate setting.
• Every woman deserves to see and hear her baby in her womb, with her own eyes and ears, via ultrasound, and every baby deserves to be seen by his/her mother and father.
• Every woman deserves practical support and resources, so that she can carry to term and know her baby will be properly nurtured (by herself or another capable family.) Fathers deserve this, also.
• Every youth needs to hear the complete truth and understand the risks from extramarital sex, and the benefits of abstinence until marriage.
• Every post-abortive person deserves to experience God's grace and to heal form the aftermath of their decision.
• Every father in an unplanned pregnancy deserves to know the truth about life, about the responsibility to protect and support the mother and baby, and the benefits of doing so.
  

Where Are We Going?

For more than 20 years, Pregnancy Resource Centers have been quietly working to protect and save the most vulnerable in Greater Portland. By collaborating with hundreds of churches, and thousands of individuals--by leaving the political arena to others and compassionately serving those in need--the results have been stunning:

Noteworthy Results :

• Hundreds of thousands of women facing unplanned pregnancies have been given a safe place to hear the complete truth about their options.
• Tens of thousands of babies have been born in our community who would otherwise have perished.
• Tens of thousands of women and girls have been helped to avoid choosing abortion and its damaging consequences.
• Hundreds of thousands of youth have been introduced to abstinence until marriage as a positive lifestyle choice, many for the first time. Many have chosen to save themselves for their future spouse, a protect themselves from the epidemic of STDs, and avoid the emotional and relational consequences of premarital sex.
• Many hundred have recovered from post abortion stress and have been empowered to expose the dark truth of abortion, and experience healing in part, by sharing their story with others.
